- Identify the record with sufficient detail.
- Provide contact information and the preferred form of access.
- Provide proof of identity and authority where acting for another person.

Access may be refused or limited where PAIA protects personal information, confidential third-party information, commercial information, safety, security, privilege, intellectual property or other legally protected interests.
